Visit to Kinross House The visit to Kinross House in October 2014 was so fully subscribed that this repeat visit has been arranged, by kind permission of the owner, Mr Donald Fothergill. This exceptional late 17th Century house, the masterpiece of architect and politician Sir William Bruce, was described in Country Life as ‘the complete expression in stone of the Renaissance in Scotland’. Two guided visits will take place, both on Wednesday 14 October, one in the morning, the other in the afternoon. Members will make their own way to Kinross House, and may bring their own picnic lunch. They will have the opportunity to view the gardens.
